Chiyogami Stud Earrings-Pink Plum Blossoms on Green

Stud earrings in pink and green are handmade with Japanese Chiyogami paper that is placed on a 1/2 inch circle laser cut birch wood. The piece is finished off with a layer of resin. The metal earring findings are of lead and nickel-free stainless steel and have a a nice tight ear back.

The plum blossoms along with cherry blossoms (Sakura) are heralds of Spring in Japan, and are also a metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life.

Because of the paper and wood, I advise to always take your Sweet Space jewelry off before bathing or swimming. Also, please do not spray alcohol products like hairspray or perfume near them because it can damage the piece.
