Chiyogami Stud Earrings-Yagasuri Blues
This is becoming one of my favorite pair of earrings. They are handmade with Japanese Chiyogami paper that is placed on a 1/2 inch circle laser cut birch wood. The piece is finished off with a layer of resin. The metal earring findings are of lead and nickel-free stainless steel and have a nice tight ear back.
This silkscreened paper is of a Yagasuri design in blues and white. Yagasuri design is based on fletching (feathers used in arrows) and symbolizes aiming at a target.
Because of the paper and wood, I advise to always take your Sweet Space jewelry off before bathing or swimming. Also, please do not spray alcohol products like hairspray or perfume near them because it can damage the piece.
